Dreamlight Theatre Company is dedicated to developing and producing new musicals. We are always on the look-out for new shows and have set up basic submission guidelines.
** Please note that Dreamlight produces musicals only. **
In an effort to be green, we ask that all submissions be sent via e-mail to chipklose@DreamlightTheatre.org.
To submit a work for consideration, please include the following:
- brief cover letter introducing the piece and the writers, and also a brief development/production history (awards, grants, readings, workshops, etc.)
- Brief plot synopsis and character breakdown
- FULL script (.doc or .pdf format)
- Demo CD with as much of the music as possible. It's helpful for us to get a sense of the breadth of the work and the piece as a whole. (Don't worry about the quality of the recording; trust me, we have vision to see beyond that.)
- Contact information including phone number, e-mail address, and/or representation
