Avenue X Main Cast Production Staff

Jonathan Stewart * - Pasquale
Jonathan is happy to return to Gravesend Brooklyn having played the role of Pasquale in the award winning productions of Avenue X at the Cincinnati Playhouse, the St. Louis Repertory Theater and at the Merrimack Repertory Theater in Massachusetts. Jonathan has appeared onstage coast to coast from the Santa Barbara CLO to the Papermill Playhouse in New Jersey. Favorite roles include Frankie, Forever Plaid; Tony, West Side Story; Berger, Hair and the title role in Joseph...Dreamcoat. Tours: Annie Get Your Gun (First National) A Chorus Line (Canadian Tour). He received his Bachelor of Arts in Drama from the University of California at Irvine. Jonathan is a proud certified Bikram Yoga instructor. Thanks to JR, GS, JJ, RL, BC, GB and M&D!

J.D. Goldblatt * - Milton
Currently: Broadway: Les Misérables  (Montparnasse).  Past productions: NY: Two Gentlemen of Verona (Valentine) with the Acting Company, The Irrationals (Miguel) at ATA. Regionally: Jelly’s Last Jam (Jelly) at the Alliance, Once on This Island (Daniel) at Baltimore Center Stage, Hair (Hud) at Barrington Stage. Graduate of CMU School of Drama. Thanks to God, family and Gage Group.

Mitchell Jarvis * - Chuck
Recent graduate of Carnegie Mellon School of Drama.  Broadway: Fiddler on the Roof.  Other Credits: The Water Coolers, West Side Story (Tony), The Secret Garden (Dickon), The Spitfire Grill (Joe), Sweeney Todd (Toby), The Full Monty (Jerry), Bus Stop (Bo), The Rainmaker (Jimmy). Special thanks to Peter Strain and Associates, Leslie,  family &  friends.  Let's go Mets '07!
 

Jeffery V. Thompson * - Roscoe
JJeffery is pleased to once again find himself living on Avenue X, He thanks John Ruocco for first introducing him to Roscoe and the wonderful world of this challenging musical. On Broadway, Mr. Thompson starred in It Ain’t Nothin’ But The Blues, Eubie!, Amen Corner, and Uptown....it’s Hot!. Regional theatre credits include leading roles at Arena Stage, HartfordStage, Longwharf Theatre, Indiana Repertory Theatre, Actors Theatre of Louisville, The Prince Music Theatre, Great Lakes Theatre Festival, Repertory Theatre of St. Louis and Cincinnati Playhouse-In-The-Park. Some favorites roles are Holiday Heart (Holiday Heart), Captain Hook (Peter Pan), Ganesha (A Perfect Ganesh), The Fool (King Lear), Clarence The Angel (A Wonderful Life) and his One-man Show (Lift Ev’ry Voice).. In film and television, Mr. Thompson has recently had guest starring roles on Law & Order, Nypd-blue, Law & Order:svu, Rescue Me, The Chris Rock Show, Ed, Shadow Conspiracy, Hi-life, Hope & Faith, Duane Hopwood and currently lauding the merits of Robitussin. He is also a respected and sought-after director; and as a playwright, has had his scripts produced on Broadway, as well as regionally across the nation. Mr. Thompson dedicates his performance to his family and friends who make it all worthwhile.

Keifer Mansfield * - Ubazz
Keifer is making his New York Debut and is thrilled to be a part of Avenue X. Favorite credits: Footloose (Jeter), The Fantasticks (El Gallo), Assassins (The Proprietor) and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (The Pharaoh). He is a graduate of the University of Northern Colorado. A huge thanks to my dear family (especially Mona and the Pops), my amazing friends and the Angus’ crew. Proud member of Actors’ Equity.

Cheryl Alexander * - Julia
Broadway credits include: Caroline or Change, It Ain't Nothin' But the Blues, Once On This Island, The News, Senator Joe, Sophisticated Ladies, Dreamgirls (original cast). Off-Broadway credits include: The Bubbly Black Girl Sheds Her Chameleon Skin, Bernarda Alba, Screams of Kitty Genovese, Power Failure, and 3 Sistah's. Regional credits include  Thunder Knocking on the Door, A Streetcar Named Desire, Camino Real, Blackbirds of Broadway, Dreamgirls,  The Bubbly Black Girl Sheds Her Chameleon Skin, Avenue X. Television credits include "Chappelle Show," "NYPD Blue," "Law & Order: SVU," "Soundtracks" and "Avenue X."  Thanks to God, Mom & my family.

Megan McGettigan * - Barbara
Megan is happy to be a part of Ave. X again, after having played the role of Barbara in several readings and a production. Other favorite roles include Chava in Fiddler On The Roof at Sacramento Music Circus, and Sally in Me And My Girl at Walnut Street Theatre. She has also performed in numerous staged readings of new musicals in NYC, including Ariel in Footloose, and Laura in the 60's Project; as well as commercials for television and radio. She would like to thank her family , friends and Drew for all of their love and support.

Anthony Wills, Jr.* - Winston
Anthony Wills Jr. recently relocated to New York where he's performed in Talking to Terrorists (Culture Project), A Season of Miracles (Pushcart Players) and his one-man show The Happiness of Schizophrenia (New York International Fringe Festival). Regional credits include seasons at Milwaukee Rep, Utah Shakespearean Festival, Pennsylvania Centre Stage and First Stage Children's Theater. In his former home of Chicago he's performed with many companies including Steppenwolf, Lookingglass, Northlight, Hypocrites and About Face. Memorable roles include Lovin' Al in Working, Doc Daneeka in Catch-22, Lot in Lot's Wife and Bokonon in the Staged adaptation of Kurt Vonnegut's Cat's Cradle.

Alice Stringer - (Barbara Understudy)
Alice is honored to be a part of this beautiful production!  Some of her favorite credits include Genevieve in "The Baker’s Wife," Mallory in "City of Angles," Timoune in "Once On This Island" and Hermia in "A Mid Summer Night’s Dream."  Thank you Chad & Chip for giving me this opportunity!
